Whose record this is

Version 1 · in force from 20 August 2026 · how we change these documents

In plain words

The shop owner keeps this record. It is their book.

DailyPlus stores it for them and shows it back. We do not check any of it and we do not take a side.

If a worker thinks a day or an amount is wrong, the app lets them say so, and their employer answers it.

This page is written for both of you to read.

1. If you are the shop owner

  1. 1.1 The record is yours. Every wage, every day, every advance, every photograph and every document in it was entered by you or by somebody you gave access to.
  2. 1.2 You decide what goes in. Nothing in the app requires you to keep a photograph or an identity document, and you should keep only what you actually need.
  3. 1.3 You must have the right to hold what you keep, and you must tell your workers what you keep about them.
  4. 1.4 You are responsible for following the law that applies to you on wages, hours, records and personal data.
  5. 1.5 You can take a copy of your records out at any time, and you can ask us to delete them.

2. If you are the worker

  1. 2.1 What you see in the app is what your employer entered. It is his record of your work.
  2. 2.2 DailyPlus does not check whether a day or an amount is right. We do not know, and we do not decide.
  3. 2.3 If something looks wrong, the app lets you say so, and your employer answers it. That is the fastest way to fix a day, and it works best in the same week.
  4. 2.4 We do not hold or pay any money. Your wage comes from your employer, in cash or by UPI, exactly as it did before.
  5. 2.5 Your own account details are yours, and you can ask us about them. Questions about your days or your pay go to your employer first, because he holds that record.

3. What that means in law

  1. 3.1 For the records an owner keeps about a worker, the owner decides and we only process on the owner’s instructions. In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the owner is the Data Fiduciary and we are a Data Processor.
  2. 3.2 For an account holder’s own account details, we are the Data Fiduciary.
  3. 3.3 A worker using the staff side holds their own account and accepts our terms on their own screen. The shop record still belongs to the owner, and a worker does not gain any claim against us through the owner’s account.

4. Photographs and identity documents

  1. 4.1 A photograph of a person, and a copy of an identity document, are personal data with real weight. Holding them is a decision, not a default.
  2. 4.2 Keep them only if you have a reason you could explain. Do not collect them because a field exists.
  3. 4.3 If you do keep them, tell the worker, keep them where others cannot see them, and remove them when the reason has passed.

5. Who to contact, and in what order

  1. 5.1 A worker with a question about a day, a wage or a payment: ask your employer.
  2. 5.2 An owner with a question about the records you keep: write to us at [email protected].
  3. 5.3 Anybody who cannot get an answer, or who wants to complain: our Grievance Officer is named on the grievance page and answers within the timelines stated there.
