The basics
What is DailyPlus?
An Android app for small Indian shops. You mark who came in and it works out the salary. You record what you paid in cash or UPI, and your worker sees his own record.
What does it cost?
Nothing today, on every band. Up to five workers is free always. If a price ever starts for the bigger bands, you will be told 60 days before.
Does it work on iPhone?
No. DailyPlus is for Android phones today.
Which Android version do I need?
Android 8.0 or newer.
How long does setting up take?
About three minutes for a shop with four or five workers.
Using it
Does it work without internet?
Yes, fully. Everything is written on your phone the moment you tap. With an account, it catches up on its own when you are next online.
Can I pay some people daily and some monthly?
Yes. Each worker has his own wage and his own pay cycle, in the same shop.
Can my manager mark the day?
Yes. Give him manager access. Every mark carries who made it.
Can I correct a day I marked wrong?
Yes, any day, at any time. The salary works itself out again straight away.
Does the app send money to my workers?
No. It never holds or moves money. You pay in cash or from your own UPI app, and the app writes it down.
Your workers
What can my worker see?
His own days, his own salary and his own advances. He cannot see another worker’s pay or your shop’s figures.
Can he change his own attendance?
No. He can only tell you a day looks wrong, and you decide.
Does he pay anything?
No, and he never will.
Your records
Where are my records kept?
On your phone, where only DailyPlus can open them. If you make an account, a locked copy is also kept online in a private store.
What happens if I lose my phone?
With an account, sign in on a new phone and your register is there. Without one, the records were only on that phone.
Can I take my records out?
Yes, any day. They are yours, and that stays true if you stop using DailyPlus.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Our data deletion page explains what is deleted and how long it takes.
Do you sell my shop’s information?
No. We do not sell it, we do not advertise, and we do not lend money against it.
What it does not do
Does DailyPlus keep customer credit or shop items?
No, not today. It does staff, and nothing else. Our vision page says plainly what exists and what does not.
Does it calculate PF, ESI or file returns?
No. It does not calculate them and it does not check whether you follow any law. Our guides explain the rules in general terms.
Does it count hours or overtime?
Not today. It marks whole days and half days. Hours are on our roadmap.
Does it work for two shops in one view?
Not today. Each shop is its own shop, and you read them one after the other.
