Deleting your account and your records

1. Inside the app

1. 1.1 Open DailyPlus and go to your account settings.
2. 1.2 Choose to delete your account.
3. 1.3 Confirm. You will be asked to confirm because it cannot be undone.
4. 1.4 Your account is closed and the online copy of your records is scheduled for deletion.

2. If you no longer have the app

1. 2.1 Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, or from the phone number on it by WhatsApp on +91 70644 54262.
2. 2.2 Tell us the shop name and the phone number or email on the account.
3. 2.3 We check that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything. That check exists to stop somebody else deleting your register.
4. 2.4 We acknowledge within 24 hours and complete deletion within 15 days.

3. What is deleted

1. 3.1 Your account details.
2. 3.2 Your shop’s records held in your online copy: workers, attendance, wages, payments and advances.
3. 3.3 Photographs and documents you uploaded.
4. 3.4 Anything remaining in an encrypted backup ages out within 30 days of deletion.

4. What is not deleted, and why

1. 4.1 The copy on your phone. Deleting your account does not wipe your phone. To remove that copy, uninstall the app or clear its data on the device.
2. 4.2 Anything we are required by law to keep, for the period the law requires and no longer.
3. 4.3 Records that are no longer linked to you, kept in a form that cannot identify you, such as counts of how many shops use a feature.

5. What happens to your workers’ records

1. 5.1 The records you kept about your workers are part of your shop’s record, and they are deleted with it.
2. 5.2 A worker’s own account, if he made one, is his. He can delete it himself the same way.
3. 5.3 If you may need those records later — for a wage question, or because a law requires you to keep them — take a copy out before you delete.

6. How long it takes

1. 6.1 Requests are acknowledged within 24 hours.
2. 6.2 Deletion is completed within 15 days.
3. 6.3 Backup copies age out within 30 days after that.
4. 6.4 We tell you when it is done.
