Why the app asks for each permission

1. What the app asks for

1. 1.1 Internet access. Used to keep your online copy up to date, if you made an account. Say no and the app works fully offline.
2. 1.2 Camera. Used only if you choose to take a worker’s photograph. Say no and nothing else changes.
3. 1.3 Photos and files. Used only if you choose to attach a photograph or a document to a worker. Say no and nothing else changes.
4. 1.4 Notifications. Used for the three reminders: the day is not marked, a payment is due, and a worker raised something. Say no and the app is silent.

2. What the app never asks for

1. 2.1 Location.
2. 2.2 Contacts.
3. 2.3 SMS or call logs.
4. 2.4 Microphone.
5. 2.5 Anything to do with your bank or your UPI app.

3. If the app ever asks for more

1. 3.1 Any new permission will be explained on this page before it appears in a release.
2. 3.2 A permission that is not on this page is a mistake, and we want to hear about it.
